World Teachers' Day will have 24 hours of celebration online
2020 was a very challenging year for everyone, and teachers were especially affected. The closure of schools that took place around the world forced them to make the transition to distance learning in a matter of days. Faced with this extremely difficult situation, these professionals have shown themselves to be absolutely exceptional and have done everything for their students and their students, often with a lack of structure and government support. In this difficult time, it is essential that teachers from all over the world come together. To this end, the Education International (IE) will hold on October 5 the largest online meeting of teachers in history, which will be broadcast in real time for 24 hours and will be held worldwide.

In addition, it will bring global dialogues and interventions from key players that have shaped the education sector, including United Nations officials, Ministers of Education and Presidents.
