CPLP – Sindical de Educação, expresses its complete solidarity with the member unions of Brazil, CNTE and CONTEE, with regard to the rejection of the outcome that the course of President Dilma Rousseff's impeachement process had in the Senate of that country.
CPLP-SE considers that this process, since its beginning, was affected by the intention of the Brazilian right to remove from power those who held the democratic legitimacy that the majority of the Brazilian people gave them in the ballot box.
Whoever does so is against democracy, does not respect it, and prefers to cover himself in slander, in defamation, in the distortion of reality, in the manipulation of facts, in short, in an entire arsenal of coup techniques, to hide his clumsy designs .
For that, they will certainly not count on anyone who has a progressive vision of education and the role it has in today's world. Know this way, that your unions will count, for the fight to come, with the unequivocal support of the union organization of the Portuguese-speaking community - CPLP-SE.
