IMPORTANCE OF OCTOBER 5 FOR THE TEACHER

The 5th of October, World Teacher's Day, is of great importance in the lives of teachers as it honors everyone who contributes to the Teaching and education of society.

This date draws attention to the fundamental role that teachers play in educating the population in society.

Teachers are essential for universal and quality education, and they are fundamental in shaping the minds and attitudes of the next generations, to deal with new challenges and opportunities worldwide.

On this day, it is only worth making numerous reflections on situations that, against all expectations, still allow in the teaching and learning process, related to human relations and working conditions.

Celebrating the dignity and importance of the teacher is particularly relevant these days for many reasons.

First of all, the teaching profession now has an indispensable character in education, years ago.

In Angola this date, the Federation of Education, Culture, Sports and Social Communication Unions of Angola has been commemorating and organizing for some time now.

Modesty aside, the State has done little to make this date known, widespread and celebrated throughout the territory.

As for the launch of the new CPLP-SE website, we commend the initiative and encourage you to continue with this very important tool, which in some way will, in our opinion, facilitate the interaction between CPLP-SE and member organizations.
